While the building does not have "regular" open hours, any time the
flag is up, you are welcome to come in, or by appointment.
Admission.
The "little red schoolhouse" was constructed in 1870 with bricks made of clay from the banks of a nearby farm pond. The school was used continuously for primary and middle grades until 1952. It contains old-fashioned desks with built-in ink wells, McGuffey Readers and a potbelly stove, along with many other items traced to days gone by.
