 Wildflower Room (Second Floor Bedroom)

This Easterly facing room welcomes the morning sunshine. The room features a queen-size bed and antique pie-safe, which contains linens and towels. A seating area tucked into a beautiful bay window overlooks the rolling hills of neighboring Flushing, and -- depending on foliage cover (time of year) -- you may glimpse the precipitous embankment that descends to an abandoned B&O railroad tunnel, which extends under Stratton House Inn. This room has an excellent view of the Stratton Mill. In Springtime, enjoy the fragrance and sight of the nearby dogwood trees in blossom. This room sleeps two and shares a full bath and Jacuzzi tub with the Hummingbird Room -- an adjacent bedroom.

  • Room Rate: $60

Note: It has been difficult to photograph this room. During the day, the four windows flood the room with sunlight, causing all photos to be overexposed. Photos taken at night do not reflect adequately the colors and spirit of the room. When we do obtain a photo that does justice to the Wildflower Room, we will add it to this page.
