The Coal Museum documents Harrison County's rich coal-mining history -- and, by extension, the related history of southeast Ohio. Exhibits cover both underground mining and surfice mining, providing extensive information about some of the largest earth-moving equipment in the world -- some of which is still working in Harrison County.
