Great Western SchoolhouseNational Rd. The "little red schoolhouse" was constructed in 1870 with bricks made of clay from the banks of a nearby farm pond. The school was used continuously for primary and middle grades until 1952. It contains old-fashioned desks with built-in ink wells, McGuffey Readers and a potbelly stove, along with many other items traced to days gone by. See: Historic Sites
